ABU DHABI: Al Sheikh Aboobackar Bin Ahmad, the General Secretary of the All India Muslim Scholars Association, Vice-Chancellor of Sunni Cultural Centre, has lauded the tolerance policy in the UAE led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He told his Indian audience observing the 42nd UAE national day anniversary, held at the national theatre- Abu Dhabi, that the UAE provides facilitation to foreigners seeking jobs and protects them, besides assisting the poor and needy worldwide.
The scholar congratulated the UAE President, government and people on the national day, noting that over 5,000 Indians attended this event to express their thanks to the leadership. He referred to the bilateral ties between the UAE and India and the keenness of the Indian community to contribute to the UAE’s development while observing the laws of the country.
He greeted the UAE leadership, its people and the expatriate communities on the national day and for Dubai winning the right to host Expo 2020.
The event was attended by Counselor Ali Al Hashimi, Religious and Judicial Adviser at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and other senior officials.
